The Darkhours Episode CLXXI: Time of the Season.
It’s that time of the season. It’s possibly getting colder, but who knows. It’s been like Spring the whole last week. There are 17 Shopping Days til the great Materialism Day known as X-Mas and we here at the Darkhours will have our Ho Ho HO on. I’m not saying I’m going to pepper you with lot’s of traditional Lite FM X-Mas music crap, but a speckling of the stuff that woulld make Grandma cringe and spit-take her teeth into the flaming yule log.
I’m going to have fun and most likely be irreverent as usual. I’ll probably offend someone… but then again, that’s why we come here. Weirdness abound! Come on down! See you tonight at 10pE, 7pP. 4aEUR.

Kittyn Heather Officially Kicks off the KMRL Holiday Season Mama Prude, Wine and Ranting!
After a two week break, Kittyn Heather is back tonight in rare form to kick off KMRL's official 2011 holiday season! We've got WTF Wine, we've got Mama Prude and we've got Kittyn Heather in fine form after a phone call today for a heck of a rant or two! We have a message for all those trying to bed the Darkstar and maybe we'll even break out a few of those vulgar Christmas songs that have become such a staple of the show.It should be amusing so turn off the TV, set the DVR and come join us for the show! Come to the chatroom, it makes Kittyn Heather feel better about herself (you know, her frail psyche and all) and it really does make the show a lot more fun.
Expect a few more obscenities than usual, the holidays tend to bring out the crazy in people and poor Kittyn Heather has been attracting them like flies on shit lately so there will be venting about holiday crazy people.

Random Mumble Generator
w0w, it’s been an exhausting week for me here in Blighty!
I’ve played the role of Lucy Ricardo on an assembly line (wahhhh), and did some dirty deeds for Lewes District Council dirt cheap!
I’ve seen things I’d rather not seen, smelled things that scorched my sinuses, and tried to not startle someone teetering on the edge of a cliff. If you’ve seen the pics I posted in Diogenesis you might have guessed what was going on. I’ll explain it during this evening’s show, and leave it up to the audience whether I should or should not have posted those pics. If the majority of people think I should remove them, then I will.
So I’ll be explaining & complaining, ranting & raving, rocking & rolling, playing music to get your blood boiling, your feet kicking & your energy flowing, live from Buggery Ol’ Blighty.

Remembrance of Things Past.
Last week I did a show dedicated to Freddie Mercury, and on Thursday (24 November), the 20th anniversary of Freddie’s death, I played six hours of non-stop Freddie. This has all put me in a rather nostalgic mood, but really, my nostalgia only extends to the late 80s and 90s and while the music was great it wasn’t exactly “classic”.
So tonight I’ll be playing Oldies. Music from the 50s, 60s and 70s… maybe even a bit of 80s.
