It's Tuesday, it's that time again. Time for friends and strangers to come together in the world of the bizarre that is Hello Kidney Radio. Never planned in advance, never scripted, never well thought out, Hello Kidney Radio continues to be a mix of bad music, Mama Prude never having any idea what's going on, Kittyn blathering and input from the chat room folks but somehow it works and even manages to entertain here and there.

Tonight is no exception. I have no plan, I have no ideas. I just know I'll be there and hopefully so will some of you. Hey, there are worse things to be doing on a Tuesday night and TV can always be recorded. Come by the chat, make a new friend or show Kittyn and her frail psyche some love. In my relentless quest to fill the USA with X Japan I have taken the suggestion of a listener and am officially going to do an occasional hour of pure X Japan before the real show. This was inspired by 'The Eight" who were there the first time I did this and I'll run around bare-ass naked with KMRL IS X painted across my ass if it will turn people on to these amazing musicians.

Not much talk during this hour, it's mostly music and it's what I'd be playing anyway before going on so why not share it with those who might be interested before the US album comes out and the tour starts and finally America catches on.

Myths, Magick, Madness & Metaphor

Studying language I’ve learned some fascinating things about metaphor, while at the same time studying metaphor led me to some amazing things about mythology, legends & religions - which I’ve been studying the whole time. There are times when the synchronicity of the way disparate things are actually intertwined just blows my mind… which, of course, is the main reason I’ve been studying them in the first place. I often imagine the the evolution of the human psyche as a Möbius strip twisted into a Celtic knot.

That’s what I’ll be discussing during this evening’s show. As well as the differences between what our ancestors imagined the universe to be and what physics has actually shown it to be, along with some of the eerie similarities… Oh, and I’ll also reveal a few secrets of the inner orders of some modern left hand path religions just to keeps people on their toes.

Holy Crap! Feb 1st 2012: It’s Imbolc to those of the the metaphysical persuasion, the start of Black History Month for those of the African American persuasion, The Death of Soul Train Creator and Host, Don Cornelius, Co-Owner of KMRL Deathsquads Birthday and I’m sick as a dog and I feel as if I wanna die.

So here’s what we’re gonna do. I’m at Webkittyn Studios with she and MamaPrude again! No one wants my contagion around the studio equipment so Webkittyn will handle all the controls like last night but there will be Darkhours music along with the bizarre banter that happens when we all get together. There may even be pre-"Woo Wars” activity and more talk of relationships issues with the upcoming of Valentines Day. Too much to talk about in 2 hours? You may be right!

All I know is, I’m going to have fun and most likely be as irreverent as usual. I’ll probably offend someone… but then again, that’s why we come here. Weirdness abound! Come on down! See you tonight at 10pE, 7pP. 4aEUR.

Yes, it's THAT time of the month again! Darkstar is here, we're ready to do it again. We're not ready for Woo Wars but we'll start an early round and I'm sure it will lead somewhere strange. Kittyn is sitting in the Captain's chair so don't expect mixing! There will be mutual mockery, lots of bad language, Darkstar trying to throw Kittyn off her game, Mama Prude and her usual response to everything ("HUH?") and who knows what.

Darkstar has a bit of a cold and he's a giant baby when he so much as sniffles so be sure to toss him a tissue and an "awwwwww" when you come to chat! Kittyn is feeling groovy and insisting that both unicorns and centaurs exist and Mama Prude remains clueless.

So come join us for what should be an interesting few hours, we may even start early with stupid banter and a few songs so check chat to see if anything's going on as the icon won't officially change until 10PM. Try something new. Turn off the TV and come try the Mojo experience. Perchance to Scream

Yesterday, 27 January, was Holocaust remembrance day, and it surprises me in this day and age that there are still people who deny that the holocaust even happened. What’s weird to me is that some of these same people object to February being “Black History Month” in the US (even though it is the shortest month of the year FFS), while claiming to not be racist and even trying to co-opt Martin Luther King’s words to support their asinine ideologies.

You’ve got the Tea Baggers, who present detailed analysis of how there wasn’t enough gas in Germany to cremate all those corpses, without even slightest irony or realization that the gas killed, the coal cremated and once hot enough the bodies themselves provided the fuel… These are the same people who support Ron Paul and feel there is nothing racist in his claim that he would not have supported the abolition of slavery because it was a property rights issue and the Federal Govt. had no business getting involved.

Well, I’m just about sick and motherfucking tired of these schmucks. I’ve got a lot on my plate right now, between working my ass off for little reward, constant stresses from every direction, no way to let off steam any more, etc. So I’m stressed, miserable, exhausted, and even hormonal, and I’m going to take it out on those racist, inbred, ignorant, mouth-breathers on tonight’s show. As usual I’ll be playing some great music as well.

Yes, it's me again! Darkstar's computer is still bork bork borked so I'm going to jump in his chair tonight and do the show! I'll do the best I can to be Darkstar-ish but he's definitely one of a kind. He also does awesome mixes and I am not a mix-Kittyn. However, I shall endeavor to do my best. No Skittles tonight, that was last night but it was just so much darn fun we can't let the KMRL air sit empty tonight.

At some point when His Nibs is ready, Darkstar will join us by Skype to say hello and tell us what he thought of Spiderman. Mama Prude will be here at my side adding her usual contribution of "HUH?" to everything that's said.

It should be fun, it won't be your typical Darkhours but it will make you laugh and should be a good time and hell, it's better than TV!

From my own personal bible, a work in progress that I have been writing since my teens:
Religion: Bass ackwards fools trying to cram fairy tales and imaginary friends down everybody’s throats while forcing them to live impoverished of pleasure and self awareness.
Church: A place for twisted, self deluded hypocrites to congregate for the purpose of strengthening the masks they hide behind while committing atrocities every other day of the week.

Yes, political season is afoot in the US, and instead of dealing with the issues that are crippling our entire world they instead spout tired platitudes and argue over whose imaginary friend has the bigger dick, or is it who is the better cocksucker of that fallacious, flaccid phallus? Meanwhile, of course the rampant racism, homophobia & sexism they exhibit are supposed to be taken in stride, or at least ignored as we consider instead ”more important issues”. Now, to me, the way an individual deals with other human beings is the most important issue & tells me how they will tackle other problems… but perhaps I am alone in this.

Tonight’s show I’ll discuss politics, racism & religion. Most especially the difference between despising people who wallow in cancerous ignorance, spreading it’s vile influence, no matter their color, and the hatred of others based on nothing more than the condition of their bodies at birth. There’s a huge difference. Period. I’ll also be playing some terrific music from various genres and decades, as usual!

The Good, the Bad and the Fugly

I’ve been on these blighted isles for a bit over a year now, and am still learning just how different their basic mentality is from what I’m used to.
You’d think that the fact that they still have a tax supported royalty would have clued me in long ago, but it’s more than that. There’s a “Mate-ocracy” here that they’re quite proud of, and the levels of bullying passed down through the levels are considered par for the course, for example nastiness to an underling gets a response of, “he’s really on form today”, with a smile. Truly psychotic nastiness, with an element of narcissistic pathos is considered a sign of a great sense of humor (or “humour"). Don’t even get me started on the blatant nepotism (especially by those who claim to not allow nepotism).

So this evening’s show will be twofold. I’ll be discussing the royalty addicted Brits and their seeming need for a playground pecking order, while playing music with a completely different theme. Perhaps telling a story or creating an emotional roller coaster with music, but I won’t be explaining what it’s about - it’ll be up to you to figure it out. No prizes, no competition, no wrong or right answers, just some fun.

Well hi there. Yes, there is a show tonight. I've been kind of sick all day and I'm feeling those toxins so I expect a particularly silly and crazy show but who knows, it could totally suck. The usual mix of music, ranting, opinions no one agrees with and music no one's heard of! No wine tonight, I already feel like I drank a gallon but we'll still have Mama Prude and my vulgar mouth so who needs wine to kick back and have fun.

Well. It’s 2012 and it looks like I’m the first official show on board for 2012. We’ll talk about how we spent New Years Eve, what we expect from the new year and what need to get done, shall we?

Oddly today is the coldest day of the winter so far and it’s only for one day, which is very odd. Tonight I’ll theme the show about the winter and it’s chill. Along with that, I just found out today that an artist that was a personal acquaintance of mine has passed away. We hung out at Mother’s back in the day. Her stage name was from when I knew her was Mistress Jennifer of the San Francisco punk band turn Manhattan Goth group: “The Nun’s”. I learned quite a bit more fo her since we stopped talking on MSN Messenger from this recently uncovered online obituary. Tonight, in tribute to my old friend, we’ll feature a few songs from the album I spent quite some time acquiring recently. Jennifer ‘Miro’ Anderson, you will be missed.

So look for a St. Louis style send up from an old friend, some fun and frolic in the cold and good tunes for all! Join usin the chatroom and whoop it up and yell “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!” once again!

Fashioning the Paving Stones of the Road to “Hell”

Yes, New Year’s Eve. The resolutions and good intentions of which are destined to break hearts, crush spirits and undermine self confidence for the coming year. Truly an arbitrary day, random to anyone other than forgotten Romans who designed an imperfect calendar to supplant those of the “Barbarians”, like the Celts, whose calendar was far more accurate than even than that which we use today.
Seriously though, it’s a day chosen by genocidal thieves, murderers and pirates whose primary accomplishment was amassing enough power & killing enough people to be considered “Gods & Emperors”.

Therefore, this evening I’ll be making fun of the coming year, dissecting the previous year, and just kvetching enough to echo throughout all the years. Mixed in will be enough good music to keep you rockin’ if you’re getting ready to go out, keep you happy if you’re just getting back in or merely kill a couple of hours if you just don’t give a shit.
